Happy Birthday Mollie!

Happy Birthday Mollie! Today my sweet Mollie turns EIGHT! What a great surprise she was on Valentine's Day years ago when Trey surprised me with my "everlasting chocolate." She is so special to me and is one of the sweetest, smartest dogs I've ever known...and she's mine! :)

She was so tiny...only 3 1/2 lbs when I got her!
happy girl!
and a little spoiled...
a natural hunter...
in the summer of 07 she had a special connection with Christopher...

she was immediately fascinated with Anne Morgan when we brought her home...
and so sweet with her...
and of course she loves her brother...
they're best friends!
We love you Mollie-girl! You have brought so much to our lives. We can't imagine the last eight years without you!! Anne Morgan has already come to love you tons too, and thank you for being so sweet and patient with her.

New Year's at Grammie and Pop's

This past weekend Trey and I left our little ones (AM, Mollie and Beasley) with Grammie and Pop while we took a trip to Tampa for the Auburn game. I have to admit I was a little anxious about leaving her for the first time but I knew she was in good hands. Thank goodness for pictures that can be sent on the phone, Pop sent us quite a few every day so we could see what she was up to. I could tell she didn't miss us one bit, she was having a ball. We had a great trip and it looks like she did too. Here are some pictures, I realize there are a lot but it was hard to narrow them down from all of the ones they took.

AM loves her Pop. I'm so glad he was home with her and Grammie all weekend so they could all play together.
Pop was even teaching her how to hold her own bottle. She is doing pretty well with it, I can't wait for her to really be able to do it all on her own.
They got in some snuggle time too...
Then it was on to peas. She LOVES them!

She even licks the bowl!
There was "tree time" too. Pop wouldn't let Grammie take the tree down until AM left b/c she had so much fun looking at it...

And lots of reading...
And playing with Grammie...
And there was devotional time with Pop too...
And conversations with Beasley...

And of course bath time!

She even got to go to the Harper's house to watch the Auburn game too. We don't have any pictures of that but I did get pictures on my phone. She was helping to cheer the Tigers on too! Thanks Grammie and Pop! I know AM had more fun with you than she would have if she went to Tampa with us. I know we had to really twist your arm to get you to keep her! :)

Merry Christmas!

Boy have we been busy. As I'm sure all of you have been too. It's hard to sort through pictures and separate them into different events so I'm just going to lump them all into one post. Just in time for Christmas Anne Morgan is sitting up! It is so cute to see her sit up and play with toys. Here are some pictures from some of our recent adventures. Unfortunately I didn't take pictures at each stop.

A Christmas Eve bath, getting ready for Santa to come!

Tuesday we went to Grammie and Pop's house to see Aunt B, Christopher and Sophie and exchange presents with them. AM loves Pop!
Sophie wanted to dance with AM. She is the cutest and funniest little thing! I just love her!

AM loves the dogs, Mollie likes to play with her too.
AM and Kylie (Trey's cousin's little girl) got to play at Granny's house Wednesday night.
Opening her first presents at home Christmas morning.
Then we headed to Pike Road to Grandaddy and Gic's house for breakfast and more presents. AM got her first doll...she loved it!

AM and Grandaddy were sacked out and decided to try out his new recliner.
After we left their house we headed to my grandmother's house and then Trey's mom's. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures at Grandmothers and then at Granmommie and Granpoppie's we didn't take any with our camera. They took all of the pictures. We had the best time and I think AM had a wonderful first Christmas.

Saturday we went to Allan and Emily's house to play with Addison. The girls were so cute together. Addison was born about 5 weeks before AM.

It is nice to be home again but we won't be here for long. Trey and I are headed to Tampa for the Outback Bowl. AM will be going to Grammie and Pop's along with Mollie and Beasley for a couple of days. It will be so much fun to go to the game but I have to admit that I am nervous about leaving her for the first time. I know she will have a great time though. Grammie and Pop's house is so much fun. Mollie and Beasley will have fun too. We let Beasley run around for a little bit on Christmas as his present. He was having such a blast we had to put him up. He should be in the clear very very soon though! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas too!

Silly Daddy

I almost forgot to tell you all about this! The other night Trey gave AM her bath while I was cleaning up after dinner and getting her bottle ready. When she came out all bundled up in her towel he asked what I wanted him to do. I said just dry her off, put lotion on and put her pajamas on and I'll give her a bottle. Well I guess I should have specified one more thing. While I was giving her her bottle I was noticing how plump and soft her little butt was and something felt different. I realized he didn't put a diaper on her! HAHA! I died out laughing hysterically. I didn't tell him to put one on her, I guess I just assumed he would! It was so funny when I took her back to her room and unzipped her: there she was, bare and all. (I even thought about it when I didn't say diaper but thought of course he knows that part!!) It's a good thing she didn't go to the bathroom just yet!

December is Flying!

December is flying by and my baby is growing so fast! It is amazing to see how much bigger she is in the bathtub or on the changing table for example. She is rolling over all of the time now. I will put her down on her play mat and turn around and when I look back she has traveled halfway across the room! She plays with toys a lot too. She has one heck of a grip that's for sure! She loves stuffed animals. She's losing more and more hair now too. It seems that she is growing some blonde hair so she just might end up being toe headed like we thought. She's such a happy baby and is loads of fun. Here are some pictures of her so you too can see how much she is growing.

"Listen! Is that Santa that I hear?"

"I think I hear him Mommy!!"

"It has to be, do you hear that?"
"There he is! Up there!!"

"OK, maybe not, I swear I heard him though."
Speaking of Santa, we still have not gone to see him. I hope to do that this next week.

Mollie and Beasley are doing well. Beasley had a great checkup this week. They took the pin out last week and ever since then he has done great! I thought he was doing well before but now that it's out you can tell that it was bothering him and he is even better now. We go back in 4-6 weeks for more x-rays, hopefully the last. We are hoping the bone will be completely healed and he will be released then! Yippee! That will be a great way to start the new year.

Thanksgiving links

LIke I said before, we didn't take pictures at Thanksgiving. Here are the links to my sister's blog and my sister-in-laws.
