We're Still Here Too!!

I've been meaning to do a post with the dogs for a while now. I know as far as pictures and the blog topics go it seems as though they are forgotten and neglected. I can assure you that is not the case. Not at all. They have been a little bored, it's too hot to go on walks or do anything outside of the house. I promise we will resume outside activities soon though, guys!

I planned on doing a post on them anyways and then realized there has never been a more appropriate time. This weekend marks 1 year since Beasley was shot. Remember that?! It is amazing how well he is doing. Truly amazing.

Mollie and Beasley adore Anne Morgan. And I don't know if there are words to describe how she feels about them. The one word I think of is obsessed. She giggles at everything they do. She loves when the kiss her all over, she loves to climb all over them, and as we speak she has found a tennis ball and keeps putting it in their mouths. She gets the biggest kick out of them, and herself. When they do go outside (early morning or evening) she stares out of the back door and watches them romp around. This is accompanied by much giggling! So so cute. I love that she loves them, and that they love her.

We were planning to go to the beach this weekend but found out it won't work out after all. However, something much more special for the dogs will be happening. Sunday we will be going to the Braves game with AM, Mollie and Beasley in tow. It's Bark in the Park! Trey and I took Mollie and Beasley the first year they had it but haven't been back since it is usually Labor Day and we have other plans. This year is this weekend b/c the Braves are out of town the next weekend. So while we were disappointed about the beach, we'll get to go to the game...with the WHOLE family! We are so excited. The dogs deserve this. I know it's going to be hot but it is so going to be worth it. And I can't think of a better time to take AM for her first game!

So here's to you Mollie and Beasley. We love you! You bring so much joy to our lives. We are looking forward to a fun time on Sunday. I hope we can get lots of pictures. (That may not be very easy though...)
