Six Months!

Just a quick note to record AM's stats from the doctor's office this morning. Drumroll please.........she was a whopping 18 lb. 3 oz. and 27 in. long! Yep! She's a growing girl, that's for sure. Both of those numbers were 90% so Dr. Williams was really pleased. She said she is the right weight for her height. I knew she was getting heavier but I didn't realize she was that big! Poor thing, she had 5 shots today. She was supposed to get 7 but since she has to go back in 30 days to get the second half of her flu shots we are going to do 2 of the others then. She was a really good sport. She cried when they gave the shots but was fine just a minute later. Maybe it helped that Daddy was there today!

I hope all of you are enjoying this beautiful weather, it's great! Sorry I don't have any pictures for today. Hopefully I can get the video camera to upload to the computer soon. (We just got a new computer so maybe it will work on it!)

Go CATS and War Eagle?!

Yep! That's right! My two beloved teams, Kentucky and Auburn, are playing in basketball today. I actually don't enjoy the game when the two of them play. It's hard to know what to do/who to cheer for. I want both of them to win. A few years ago I had to decide that in football I would pull for Auburn and in basketball Kentucky. Those are the schools' better sports respectively. It would be more upsetting for Auburn to lose in football and Kentucky in basketball. That's all I could come to to help me out. Of course today is going to be a blowout. Kentucky is awesome, I'm really excited to get to see them play in person and for MUCH MUCH cheaper than if we went to Rupp Arena (sadly we haven't been to a home game for UK in a couple of years but hopefully next year we will get back to Rupp!). Not only is UK #2 in the nation, but unfortunately Auburn is pitiful. Yep. Trey, AM and I go to all of the games and it gets quite frustrating to watch. Hopefully they will play a lot better next year with the opening of the new arena. BoldI'm excited about that!

With all of that said, have a great weekend and stay dry! Go CATS and War Eagle!

Hi!

Hi everyone! I'm six months old already, can you believe it? Here are a few pictures from this week.
My thighs are getting chunky! And I'm trying to crawl (some days at least)

Happy 14th Birthday Aunt Chelsi!
And I loved getting to sit up in the high chair at Laredo's! It's so much better than sitting in the car seat. I can see everything!

Favorites!

Just a quick post to say hi and let you know of a couple of favorites around here...

First: The Beaba Babycook. I LOVE this thing!! I got it for my birthday and it is awesome! It is so easy to cook fresh, healthy food. You can cook (steam), puree and reheat food in this thing. It's great. I highly recommend it. I know it's a little pricey, but I think you'll get a return on your investment relatively quickly. I browsed at the price of baby food the other day and this makes food soooo cheap! It's the easiest thing ever too.

Next, Praise Baby DVD's. (I don't know why this is underlining, sorry) Anne Morgan loves these DVD's and therefore I do too. She stares at them forever, sometimes we watch them a couple of times. It's her favorite thing to do in the morning. After her bottle she plays in her exersaucer and watches her video. I love it too b/c the music is nice to listen to.

And last, but not least, our favorite thing of the moment is the great news that Beasley got yesterday!! He had his last checkup and they said everything looks great. There is just one tiny fracture barely visible on the x-ray so they said not to let him run for another four weeks. Other than that he's free!!!!!! This is awesome news!

Happy Birthday Mollie!

Happy Birthday Mollie! Today my sweet Mollie turns EIGHT! What a great surprise she was on Valentine's Day years ago when Trey surprised me with my "everlasting chocolate." She is so special to me and is one of the sweetest, smartest dogs I've ever known...and she's mine! :)

She was so tiny...only 3 1/2 lbs when I got her!
happy girl!
and a little spoiled...
a natural hunter...
in the summer of 07 she had a special connection with Christopher...

she was immediately fascinated with Anne Morgan when we brought her home...
and so sweet with her...
and of course she loves her brother...
they're best friends!
We love you Mollie-girl! You have brought so much to our lives. We can't imagine the last eight years without you!! Anne Morgan has already come to love you tons too, and thank you for being so sweet and patient with her.

New Year's at Grammie and Pop's

This past weekend Trey and I left our little ones (AM, Mollie and Beasley) with Grammie and Pop while we took a trip to Tampa for the Auburn game. I have to admit I was a little anxious about leaving her for the first time but I knew she was in good hands. Thank goodness for pictures that can be sent on the phone, Pop sent us quite a few every day so we could see what she was up to. I could tell she didn't miss us one bit, she was having a ball. We had a great trip and it looks like she did too. Here are some pictures, I realize there are a lot but it was hard to narrow them down from all of the ones they took.

AM loves her Pop. I'm so glad he was home with her and Grammie all weekend so they could all play together.
Pop was even teaching her how to hold her own bottle. She is doing pretty well with it, I can't wait for her to really be able to do it all on her own.
They got in some snuggle time too...
Then it was on to peas. She LOVES them!

She even licks the bowl!
There was "tree time" too. Pop wouldn't let Grammie take the tree down until AM left b/c she had so much fun looking at it...

And lots of reading...
And playing with Grammie...
And there was devotional time with Pop too...
And conversations with Beasley...

And of course bath time!

She even got to go to the Harper's house to watch the Auburn game too. We don't have any pictures of that but I did get pictures on my phone. She was helping to cheer the Tigers on too! Thanks Grammie and Pop! I know AM had more fun with you than she would have if she went to Tampa with us. I know we had to really twist your arm to get you to keep her! :)
