Video!!!

Well I have finally figured this video thing out! I just wanted to post a video quickly to say that I have done it. Here is a clip of AM doing her favorite thing...jumping! I can't ever catch her in full jumping mode though. She REALLY gets going but as soon as I turn on the video camera she just stares at the light. Now that I can do this I'm sure I will keep up with the videoing more. :)
(this is pretty long, like I said I just put it on here to say that I can now!)

More Pics

Here are a few more pictures from Sunday.

Trey and Anne Morgan with his grandmother, Gran.
AM-out of her dress, learning how to be a big girl from Sophie.
She is so close to crawling!!!
It takes concentration you know.
Christopher was so excited to see Anne Morgan and get to hold her. Although he wasn't too excited to see how much she had grown, he wants her to stay little so he can hold her.
He even put his shoes on her. :)
He has always loved to tickle her.
Then it was Sophie's turn to "hold" her.
After everyone left, AM was enjoying her sippy cup and next thing I knew, she decided she wanted to prop up on Mollie. I wish you could have seen it in person, the picture just does not do it justice. It was so cute!
Finally, here are a few pictures of the gown itself. It is gorgeous. Thank you so much Mom for this labor of love. It is perfect and will be passed down for many years to come. Unfortunately we did not get any pictures of Anne Morgan and her grandparents or great-grandparents. I had planned to but at the church things got busy and then of course when we got home we were rushing to get lunch ready and eat. Anne Morgan was an incredible sport and stayed up as long as she could...WITHOUT fussing once! By the time everyone finished eating she was asleep. She had been up since 9am and didn't take her nap until 2pm. I wish we had pictures of everyone with her but I guess that is just part of life with a baby. You certainly have to live on their schedule.

Anne Morgan's Dedication

This morning we formally dedicated ourselves to raising Anne Morgan in a Christian home and doing our part to lead her to the Lord. Following the wonderful service we had all of our families to our home for lunch. It was a wonderful time. Here are some pictures my brother in law took, I wish I could share with you the slideshow he did but if I have it on the CD he gave me I can't figure it out. I'm about to take a nap now so I'll add what pictures we took on our camera later. And if I can get the slideshow on here I will!

(this is really gross of me but I love it of her!)

Busy, Busy!

We've been a bit busy around here. As you noticed, we had quite a bit of snow last Friday. I didn't imagine we would get as much as they said we would, but we got more! We had 4-5 inches. It was so pretty. Trey started a fire Thursday night and we kept it going until Sunday afternoon!

Yesterday we drove over to Columbus where I had to order a bridesmaid's dress and we did some shopping, not much. How about some baby socks and bibs at Babies R Us and some scrap fabric at JoAnn's! My how times change, I love it though! Speaking of love, I love my sewing machine!

I also love my husband. :) He sent me a dozen pink roses and Anne Morgan a matching pink rose and a balloon! I can't begin to tell you how much she loves her balloon. After church, we took a family walk (all 5 of us!) around campus ran a couple of errands and eventually ordered pizza. I love how comfortable we are together. After all we've been together 11 years! We were going to get some steaks or something at the store but figured that since it was 4:40 on Valentine's Day there wouldn't be anything good left. We split a steak and crab legs tonight. De-lish!

I've mentioned before Anne Morgan's obsession with her jumping thing (like a Johnny Jump-Up) but it has reached new heights. I don't know if there is a time limit on that thing, but if there is I guarantee you that she has passed it! Yesterday she spent over 3 1/2 hours total in it. We have to take her out of it or she would never stop. She will go an hour and a half straight...non-stop jumping! I think she is going to be a gymnast. I have several videos of her in it but I still need to figure out how to get it to work on here!

I am obsessed with the Olympics. I am so excited to have them to watch right now. I'm learning that not everyone is into them, that is shocking to me. I thought everyone loved the Olympics. I had a couple of friends laugh when they found out that I had them recording during the day yesterday since we went to Columbus, came home and watched the afternoon events and set the evening to record while I went to Bible Study. Trey wasn't allowed to watch it until I got home and we could start from the beginning. One thing I have noticed with this year's ice skaters is how much skinnier the women seem to be. So far it's been the pair's so maybe it will change when the individuals skate but usually they look more athletic not skinny. There were quite a few knobby-kneed women out there. You know, their legs are so skinny the skates look like they weigh more than the whole person! It's not as pretty.

What a random post, sorry. I am getting ready for a big weekend! We are finally having Anne Morgan's dedication at church. My mom made her dress, I can't wait to get pictures of AM in it and show you. It is gorgeous! We are going to have all of our family up for the service and then to our house for lunch. That means cleaning and cooking ahead! I am really looking forward to it though.

Enjoy the Olympics and I'll post pictures after this weekend. Go USA!

Marvelous Monday!

Monday was a marvelous day! Beasley was removed from all restrictions! Yeah!! Fortunately it was a beautiful day and we were able to go to his favorite park, Kiesel. Here are quite a few pictures from our wonderful day. Anne Morgan was hilarious. I wish I had taken video. When I got to thinking about it, she has never really seen them play like this b/c Beasley has been hurt for her whole life, well since about 6 weeks at least. She was laughing and smiling and getting the biggest kick out of watching them. I cannot wait for spring when we can do this much more. I have a feeling we are going to spend a LOT of time at the park!

Happy girl!
Gee...do you think he was enjoying this?
She couldn't stop laughing

Sweet boy, I'm so thankful you are still here and doing so well!

My pretty Mollie, she loves the park too. We couldn't go without Beasley though!

I've mentioned before how much AM loves Praise Baby DVD's. I snapped a few shots later that night of her watching her favorite. She knows the sound of the DVD player starting and she'll stop whatever she's doing to watch.
This is her latest thing, I love it. She sucks on her bottom lip!
Still waiting to get the link to the pictures from Thursday. I will certainly post them ASAP!

AM had a bubble bath tonight and loved it! She was so silly, trying to find her feet beneath the bubbles! She is so much fun these days.

And here is my first dress! I made two pillows yesterday afternoon but this was my first attempt at sewing something more than that. Don't look too closely though! I'm pleased overall since it's my first attempt. I think I am going to get addicted to this hobby! :)

We are looking forward to her pictures tomorrow. I hope we are able to get some really good pictures, I have a hard time getting pictures where she isn't staring at the camera. Hopefully I can do a good job distracting her and keeping her from staring at the camera so you can all see her beautiful smile. I hear heavy rain is on its way...again. Ugh! Hopefully we will get back home to Auburn before it gets here. I'll post the link for the pictures as soon as we get it!
